Nosy Fanihy
Nosy Fanihy is quite close to Nosy Be, reachable in about fifteen minutes. It is one of the most mysterious islands in the archipelago. It is considered sacred ("fady") by the Malagasy people as it is the final resting place of the Sakalava King, ruler of the larger Nosy Be.
This island is very small but fascinating. It is completely uninhabited and offers postcard-perfect photo opportunities, a chance to sunbathe, swim in crystal-clear waters, and go snorkeling.
Nosy Sakatia is even closer to Nosy Be, just a few minutes by boat, but it is much larger than Nosy Fanihy. It hosts some tourist facilities, beautiful and large beaches, a village, and more than one restaurant.
Both islands can be visited separately in just 3 hours. However, our recommendation is to visit them during the same tour, starting with Nosy Fanihy, where you can spend as much time as you wish. Then, around noon, you can move to Sakatia, where we will have lunch on one of its beaches.
After lunch, you can swim and snorkel with the giant turtles that reside just a few meters from the shore. Before returning, depending on the time, we can visit another of its beautiful beaches.
This excursion, which is exclusively private, can be customized as you wish, both in terms of timing and stops.
